Firefox lost my AOL FAVORITE P:ACES, how can I get them back

AOL changed their home page which on the OLD home page was MY FAVORITE PLACES. I t to tell FIREFOX to SAVE IT ,which I did and on the day AOL switched to the new format my FAVORITE PLACES were gone Can anyone help ,I have had these FAVORITES for 20 years and I'm lost without them. thank you
