Where did the setting to to customize what happens when a new tab is opened?
I miss being able to open up tab to my search engine or to the list of recently closed tabs...I thought I remembered being able to do that before, am I going crazy?

Sorry, that feature isn't built into Firefox. You must have had an extension which provided that feature.
These are two extensions that add that feature to Firefox.
New Tab Homepage extension

Ah, fair enough. It seems that it was actually a feature on internet explorer, but I could have sworn there was a way to do it on firefox. That's just the add-on I need then.
