My Norton security will not work with 3.6.12

I have today discovered that my Norton Security is not working. Norton say it is not compatable with 3.6.12, Up until today it was working fine.

A security application shouldn't be affected by another program that is installed on that PC. If you are talking about a Firefox addon that was installed by Norton not working after a Firefox update, it's up to Norton to update their stuff as Mozilla releases new versions of Firefox. An incompatible addon shouldn't affect your overall "security" or stop the Norton Security program itself from working.
