You can report that site, when on it, by clicking (on the Firefox menu) Help > Report Web Forgery (reports to Mozilla).

The site www.wallpaper7.org is an unsafe site.

Do you have the options Tool > Options > Security, "Block reported attack sites" and "Block reported web forgeries" checked?

    • Note: plugin check page does not have information on all plugin versions
  2. Update Shockwave for Director
    • NOTE: this is not the same as Shockwave Flash; this installs the Shockwave Player.
    • Use Firefox to download and SAVE the installer to your hard drive from the link in the article below (Desktop is a good place so you can find it).
    • When the download is complete, exit Firefox (File > Exit)
    • locate and double-click in the installer you just downloaded, let the install complete.
    • Restart Firefox and check your plugins again.

First I saw the picture I expected and then it disappeared and saying that I had to upgrade and download an file. The site whcih looks behind this is cityfirefox.co.cc It looked OK to me.

After installing there was a warning that something went wrong. Missing or bad file. After restarting Firefox a popup screen appeared for poker. PKR.com. It looks likes spam. I did another attempt and download because the file was diseappered. Then I realized this wasn't right. Nothing in the software list that was strange.

After that I tried the site cityfirefox.co.cc and my virus killer warned for an attack and remove me from this site. Another site seems as even bad.

I also had a couple of days a go the idee that FF 4.0 was ready for release but couldn't find it when I looked for that.

http://cityfirefox. co.cc is a fake website, it isn't connected with Mozilla or Firefox. I just reported that page as a Web Forgery.

Anything you downloaded from that webpage is probably Malware.

Install, update, and run these programs in this order. (Not all programs detect the same Malware.) They are all free for personal use, but some have limited functionality in the "free mode" - but those are features you really don't need to find and remove the problem that you have.
Note: If your Malware infection is bad enough and you are mis-directed to URL's other than what is posted, you may have to use a different PC to download these programs and use a USB stick to transfer them to the afflicted PC.
