No personal support from firefox to deal with issue of loss of back and refresh buttons. I have tried EVERYTHING. Should I just give up and go to explorer, since ******** at Firefox won't help?

Firefox has asked me to reduce length of question...evidently they do not like being referred to as ********. I have spent an hour trying to get back and refresh buttons back, using ALL recommendations. Anyone out there who can fix this?
