Although possibly not related to your problem, I have to remind you that the version of Firefox you are using at the moment has been discontinued and is no longer supported. On top of this, it has known unpatched bugs and security problems. I urge you to update to the latest version of Firefox, for maximum security, stability, performance and usability. You can get it for free, as always, at getfirefox.com.

I have been back and forth so many times, I don't remember where, or why, the computer asked for my UserName and Password.

I just installed Corel X4, which included the Firefox program. I followed some steps to upgrade to Firefox 3.6; however, I don't know if it worked. If you haven't figured it out by now, I'm not exactly proficient on the computer.

It is very difficult to find Corel's phone number, and there is no way to get to them via the Internet.

If you can pass on some words of wisdom, I will greatly appreciate it.

This is the second time around for this message. I am practically a novice at this, so please bear with me.

I don't know why I was asked for my Username and password.

I downloaded Firefox 3.6, but have no idea if it worked. It has been very difficult trying to find a phone number for Corel Canada. I also couldn't find an e-mail address so that I could contact them that way.

If you can send me some words of wisdom, I would appreciate it.

Sorry I was in a meeting for Firefox. For the upgrade it did not work. Your useragent still shows Firefox 2.0 which is outdated and discontinued. Update to Firefox 3.6 for free as always at www.getfirefox.com

By the way, a screenshot is a picture captured to show improvision or to state a problem. It can be used by using the Snipping Tool in Vista/7 and by using FN+ PRT SC on your keyboard from XP

You can see the Firefox version at the top and the user agent at bottom of the "Help > About" window (Mac: Firefox > About Mozilla Firefox).

It would be best to download a new fresh Firefox 3.6.6 installer file and uninstall your current Firefox 2.0.0.12 version before installing that new version
