I use the "zoom" button on Google Picasa site, the zoomed image darks "fill in" or "clog up".
I've linked to a photo I uploaded. If I use the "magnify" tool button on the Picasa site, the resulting zoomed image has "clogged up" darks/blacks. Looks crappy. That was with a image that had been sized down to 1000px on the long side. If you go to the next image (6-same picture) I uploaded it full size and it doesn't have that problem.
I've checked on Chrome and IE8 and Firefox is the only one that this problem shows up on. I originally thought it was a monitor problem. (possibly something to do with 6-bit color instead of 8-bit color in lower quality LCD monitors)

This can be caused by a problem with the color profile for your display monitor or color profiles embedded in images. You can disable color management to test that. You can set the pref gfx.color_management.mode to 0 on the about:config page to disable Color Management. You need to close and restart Firefox or maybe even reboot the computer to make the change effective.

Caveats: The new QCMS color management system introduced in Firefox 3.5 currently only supports ICC version 2 color profiles, not version 4.
That seemed to fix it.
So would this be a bug of some sort in the color management/color handling of these or maybe something Picasa is doing when zooming the image?
FYI, those images should be in sRGB unless Picasa does something to them when uploaded.
NM, I read most of the second link, so I guess it's a known bug, if that's what's causing it.
