Cannot connect to internet after a Firefox upgrade

After Fire Fox does an upgrade for the next 3 to 4 days I cannot connect to web sites that circle just keeps spinning. Sometimes after about 20 to 30 minutes it might connect but then all I get is blank pages. Unfortunately I'm stuck with windows 10 for a while longer. Have tried most of the solutions refreshed 4 times and even reinstalled 3 times but doesn't change anything. Any ideas? Thanks

Isn't that an antivirus/malware/phishing security software that's not all caught up and blocks the connections? Can you try disabling it (or its web filtering functions)?
