Most of the pages that require logins will not load.

For about two weeks, most of the pages/websites that I use that require logins/passwords will not load (or take an extremely long time to load--like an hour or more). Gmail and sports stats app are okay...banking, credit cards, social media, online shopping are NOT. Websites that do NOT require a login (local news, The Weather Channel, my city website) have no trouble loading at all.

I have made no changes to my computer since about February. I'm running Windows 11 (up-to-date), and Firefox says that it is also up-to-date.

I am only experiencing this problem on my desktop (but that is my device of choice) and not on my laptops or smartphone.

Because it is only the desktop, I would narrow it to something local on that machine rather than a general Firefox change. First try Firefox Troubleshoot Mode (Help > Troubleshoot Mode) and one affected login site. If it is still slow, create a new test profile from about:profiles and try there without signing in to Sync yet. If the new profile is also affected, check Windows security/VPN/DNS/filtering software and try temporarily disabling HTTPS scanning or web protection, because login pages often load extra authentication scripts that simple news sites do not. If the new profile works, the next suspect is site data: clear cookies/cache for one affected site only and retest.
