There is a site I visit regularly that will not connect. I get an error 429 code. This doesn't happen with any other site I've used recently, and I can access the site with my iPad. I've tried clearing cookies and restarting the computer, but still can't get to this site. Any ideas?

What is the address of the website that you are trying to view?

Thanks, Paul. I don't know the address, but the site is Chewy.com.

Hi,

When trying to access the site, I got silently redirected two times... Which is not a good sign. However, I can access it on a desktop. Here are some standard troubleshooting steps that may resolve the issue for you:

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon in the left part of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it.
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache.
  3. If it does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. If the problem doesn't persist, please follow the steps from this article to troubleshoot further.
  4. If nothing from the above helps, try creating a new Firefox profile and check if the issue persists there. If it doesn't, you can start copying files from your old profile to the new one to identify which one causes the issue. See this article on what files to copy.

I have same problem with chewy. com. Error 429, too many requests. Cleared browsing history, cache, etc and still have problem. Did not try new profile, had huge problems with that months ago. plus, who wants to start copying files from old profile. Was able to connect to Chewy using another browser
