Screen sharing

How does Firefox blocks you screen sharing? Is there any error info or behavior? Also, are you sharing the Firefox window or other windows behind it?

I'm trying to complete a job whereby I have to share my screen for recording and for some reason it is not working and won't allow me to do it. I have gone to privacy and security settings in mozilla and i can see camera and microphone but not for screen sharing

without a clearer understanding of the problem, there's not much i can do to help...

is the website or an app requesting a screen share? which step does it fail (no permission popup / window selection failed or?)

Yes the website is requesting a screenshare and I select the page which I wish to share and it simply doesn't allow.

I have gone to privacy and security settings in Mozilla Firefox but there is no option to "share screen" . I have allowed Microphone and video

Since you are using Mac OS:

System Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Screen and System Audio Recording -> Add Firefox to the list and toggle it on.

DOES ANYONE know how to provide permission for screen share in Google Meet. Firefox is blocking
