Hi Rick Ponkow,

If you'd like to remove or disable the AI features (like the AI Chat or Sidebar) in Firefox, here’s what you can do:

  • In the address bar, type about:config and press Enter.
  • Accept the warning if prompted.
  • In the search bar, type: browser.ml.chat.enabled
  • Set it to false by clicking the toggle icon.

You can also search for other related preferences like browser.ml.sidebar.enabled and disable them if needed. This should permanently turn off Firefox's built-in AI features. Let me know if you’re referring to a specific feature or add-on, and I’ll be happy to help further.

Why do many "support" ppl pretend they don't get the issue. We don't want to remove th button. We don't want to deactivte the functions. We want it GONE. That means REMOVING. Bye, bye AI in Code! And that it isn't easily to at least deactive in the serttings tells everything: Mozilla doesn't want us to removeeasy acces, not to mention removing it for real. Which means... i don't want Mozilla anymore
