I do not understand your question, being rather ignorant of the net hi-tech. The software involved is Messenger. My operating system is Windows 11. Connection with the internet is wireless through Xfinity. Up until this month, I had no problems with video calls. Now, all of a sudden, calls cannot be received and message is that my browser does not support video calls.

Okay. I don't do social media, but it looks like Messenger is Facebook. Did you try with Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#search

The issue ... Facebook (META) added end to end encryption to Messenger. This makes Firefox unsupported because it cannot handle the end to end encryption.

Mozilla has to update their Firefox browser to make if work with FB Messenger. Otherwise, they will loose many Facebook Messenger users.

Will this ever happen? That's a good question for Mozilla if they care.

On Windows there is a Messenger client in the STORE  :-)
