I have no use for it, I constantly missclick and I've tried multiple methods to remove and hide it. I even tried to get rid of it by editing userChrome.css but that got me nowhere.

You don't unless you use 3rd party apps to modified those settings or userChrome.css edits to change the layout. those are defaults and don't change.
