How do I remove the stupid sidebar??? I ve always loved Firefox but Ive just reinstall Windows and then Ive installed Firefox. And this ridiculous sidebar showed. Ive marke Show and hide but still keep on displaying, stealing space from my browsing... :(

Click Customize sidebar at the bottom of the sidebar, then select Show and hide sidebar. Now the sidebar button next to the address will disable the sidebar.

TyDraniu, tks for you help but it doesnt make any effect... the area occupied by side bar still goes on after Ive marked show and hide...

I do not see the icon in your screenshot like Ty said. You need to right click and customize your toolbar to bring back the Sidebar icon. see screenshots
