Hello today i went to a it specialist, he reinstalled my windows and i lost all my backups i had been using firefox for a few days and saved a lot of stuff in bookmarks but now they dont sync i can only sync my old bookmarks from edge.Is there a way to check if my bookmarks were saved on a server?

Sync isn't a backup system. And if they didn't backup your system before doing what they did this is their fault to fix. There is no sync from Edge. If there was no backup then it's gone. And any new sync would wipe clean the old sync data.
