My almost 10 year history of firefox is gone
Hello, I beg you to help me. I love firefox, I've been using this browser since my first time since I had. So I am REALLY old user, I think it's almost 10 years. So I had no idea about your rules about keys and if I restet my password all of my synchronization will be gone. I am using the same device that I had for 4 years, but I did a factory reset. Please take my data, I don't care about privacy and everything I just want to get my passwords and bookmarks that I had for almost 10 years. I beg you. You are my only hope to restore it. Please. I had so many passwords synch on my firefox account. I dont have any physical copy of those passwords. If they are gone I don't know what to do. Please help me.

For sync changing password will clear all previous sync and if they don't match the default Desktop they were saved on then any changes would be gone. Sync pswd reset will change all other devices and what they sync to the new settings of the main sync device or computer they come from. Doing Factory reset on let's say your Laptop or Desktop back to factory condition and the using Firefox sync will wipe they sync clean of all previous saves data. So unless you use the Firefox links to save bookmark/data they will not be there after a factory reset as sync will clear all data when you sync to match current configuration from the computer it syncs from. At this point unless there is by sheer chance another device still holding onto the sync data that is the only way to get back if possible the lost data but if not then they are gone at this point.
