Firefox does not follow system Dark/Light theme switch

System: Windows 10 22H2 Version: 129.0a1

Firefox system is permanently set to Dark mode, even when the rest of the OS is light mode. While I can manually select light themes (such as the default Light theme), other dual-mode themes such as Alpenglow is permanent stuck in dark. Is there a way to investigate this?
