Hi, The DM has an annoying popup that only appears on the sports page ( which is basically the only page I actually read, the rest of the comic I just skim ). I've searched the web for a solution but to no avail, hence my asking here. I have the popup blocker ticked, but this annoyance just keeps on.

It appears to happen when scrolling down the page. It also keeps on occurring after g I get rid of it and move to another piece on the page i.e another story. I apologise for not mentioning this in my original question, but I hadn't really noticed when it happened until your reply made me look at it, as to when and how it occurred.

Remove any existing ad-blocker extensions (including Privacy Badger), install uBlock Origin and enable the Annoyances filters.
