Unable to re-install Firefox browser on my Dell Inspiron Windows 11 Laptop after corrupt software was found
I purchased a new Dell Inspiron laptop with Windows 11 installed. I downloaded and installed Firefox and it worked very well. I installed a video editing software package and somehow it corrupted the firefox installation. I tried to uninstall firefox and re-install. However, Windows uninstaller just sits there and will not uninstall. If I click on the Firefox icon, nothing happens. I successfully uninstalled the offending software, restarted the laptop and clicked on the Firefox icon. Again, no response. I again tried to uninstall Firefox with no success. I would very much like to restore Firefox since it is a superior browser.
Thanks for your help.

Maybe did you try Windows reboot in safe mode with networking to insure that it can uninstall. You need to also search online how to use windows safe mode to uninstall if regular uninstall mode doesn't work.
I ended up having to do a system restore of the PC. This was due to other programs not functioning and USB ports being corrupted. Once I used Dell’s restore image, everything is functioning as well as Firefox. Thanks for the reply.
