Does Firefox store passwords on the cloud for syncing? If so, where or on what platform/ server are they uploaded in?If not how does the syncing take place?

Sync encrypts all data locally, including logins (passwords) if those are included, using a key derived from the password of the Sync account before it is uploaded.
