I'm running Firefox v108.0.1 (64-bit) on Win 11 Pro v.22H2. Since the latest update, Firefox will stutter, freeze itself, and on several occasions freeze the entire computer when playing videos. I noticed it first when playing videos on Facebook, and then I saw it again today when a video page popped up when shopping on the Target site. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no change in behavior. On today's occurence, I was barely able to bring up Task Manager and kill the Firefox process. On at least one occurence, I got a Windows BSOD (very rare these days). Never had this issue until very recently so I assume (yes, I know...) it's associated with a recent update. No issues when playing videos using Edge. I tried finding an old version of Firefox to see if the problem would go away, but I don't see any method for doing so.

Use the menu icon in the top right, click on Help, and select Troubleshoot Mode from the sub-menu. Step 2: Select Restart to launch Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Try streaming a video in Firefox. If it is playing alright, then it's one of the Add-ons interfering with the video playback on Firefox
