Could not recover logins, keep overwrite when auto sync

Hi support team,

Yesterday, I suddenly removed all logins and somehow my profile was synced to the cloud.

Fortunately, I still keep all login files (json and key db files), I tried to recovery all my logins, it was successfully.

But, right after that my profile was synced from the cloud to my machine then whole logins were clear.

So how can I overwrite my profile in the cloud so I can totally recovery my old logins?

Kindly help to give my some advice.

Unforunately firefox sync has no cloud it sync from original device to other connected device. If you removed the login all the sync data to other devices will be deleted. sync isn't a backup setup. You need to go back to the original computer or device that where the data was originated from to get those data back.

Thanks for your information!

As I mentioned before, I already got old login files from original computer.

But everytime I try to recover all logins information, right after copying those files to profile's directory It automatically sync with previous state which was removed all logins.

So how I can avoid this situation?

You can reset the password of the Firefox Sync account to clear all data stored on the Sync server.

Hi all,

Finally, now I can recover my old logins data and able to sync with any new devices.

I took a shot as suggestions of Dropa, It was successfully.

The problem is resolved.
