Ever since the past four months of updates, the FireFox browser, when left open and idle for 4 to 5 hours leads to browser going offline and needs complete reboot of browser, and the lose of open tabs. Other browsers do not go offline, even when running at the same time that FireFox is open.

Hi Lorin, does Firefox quickly tell you you're offline, or do sites time out trying to connect? If it's a time out, does it make any difference to launch a new window (Ctrl+N) and try a Mozilla site?

Either way, next time, could you check this:

Press Alt+F to drop down the File menu

Is "Work Offline" checked here? If so, click it again to "uncheck" it.
