Why does a firefox website Windows 11 taskbar shortcut disappear when unpinning a separate firefox website shortcut?

For example, when I create a desktop shortcut to a website, right click it and select "Show More Options" and then select "Unpin From Taskbar", a previously created website shortcut is removed from the taskbar.
