There are two 'full screen' modes. I tested in Windows and it is the same - if you choose Setting - Zoom - full screen (double ended arrow icon) you get a screen with no toolbars at all, and no clear way to exit full screen. Press F11 to get into full screen or escape to normal - in Windows... The other 'full screen' is the square on the top toolbar that keeps all the toolbars.
