It's awful. I switched from Chrome because it's a CPU hog, but FF is absolutely USELESS. NOTHING works. It crashes if there's more than like 5 tabs open. It WILL. NOT. PLAY. YOUTUBE. I have only one extension-- adblock-- and basically any site with blocked ads becomes useless. Convenient... These problems started literally the first day I used it. I've cleared cache etc, safe mode, and made sure the hardware settings were right. Nothing works. Piece of garbage. Good job screwing up a half decent product. It's crap now. Waste of my time.

Use a different ad blocker, for example uBlock Origin.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020 Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/ in order to check the integrity of your RAM?

You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.

Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ? Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings

If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file. How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows {web link}

-I'm on a macbook air -I don't know what a fixed page style is -I don't have a thumb or disk drive -there are no crash reports.... at all. nothing. nada.

It's crap. It won't play youtube at all. I need to use youtube for university. Piece of crap browser. Seriously LMFAO if I can get it to play youtube, it plays half the video... and then randomly stops and starts buffering. And then won't play anything whatsoever for HOURS.

Hi, I'm on macOS, so I can help. Firefox plays youtube videos fine here. Can you try the following: Disable Adblock, then go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/ and install uBlock Origin. Restart Firefox.

Does the problem still occur?
