PayPal checkout popup window loads with a constant cycling circle; cannot proceed any farther

When using the "Checkout with PayPal" button on websites the PayPal popup window appears however it's impossible to progress to the checkout. When I then use Edge and do my purchase through there, the PayPal popup window allows me to enter my info and then proceed to PayPal with no problem at all.

I have added paypal.com into exclusions for 'Block pop-up windows' and Enhanced Tracking Protection

But, I want to be able to use Firefox! I do not want to be forced into having to use Edge for purchase payments using PayPal. I am not a techie and would like a simple solution w/o having to get into modifying any programming files. S.O.S.
