Logins & passwords missing
Opening FF today had error message about bookmarks and something (sorry cant remenber exact details) but had to shut down & restart which I did and now, whilst bookmarks are OK all my logins & passwords have gone. Opening the logins.json file shows nothing - it's empty. Checking the about:profiles shows the current one plus 2 others. One has logins but is from 2018 so most are wrong, (most of my currect logins have the firefox generated passwords) the other has none. Can I get them back?

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

I also have this issue. I went through all of the steps of saving the key3 file, installing and downloading 68ESR, making a new profile, etc. I am now back to the most up to date version and STILL am missing numerous logins. I was really hoping the solution would help. I have no idea what else to do except to re-enter all of the missing ones.
logins.json and key3.db [v58+]key4.db : These are the password files.
