Firefox won't open a new window when I right click the icon
I've had no problem with Firefox until yesterday. When I right-click the Firefox icon it won't open a new window. I've never had this problem before. At the time this occurred I started having problems with the Windows 10 start up not opening and not displaying my apps and the Windows Picture editor presenting me with a black screen and not allowing me to import photos from my camera or iPhone. I uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and it still doesn't open a new window when I right click the icon. I can't find information on how to solve this anywhere and am hoping someone here can help me. Thank you for any help you can provide.

Problem is frequent with Win-10. It's been a problem OS since it was released and users have reported many types of situations like this. Here at our PC shop we cannot find a fix for much of the garbage that Win-10 vomits up on it's users, and we have been in business since OS 98 was released. Many of our customers beg for conversions to OS 8.0/8.1 and even OS 7. In your case, your best chance of a fix is a complete uninstall of FF and new download of a fresh copy.
Actually, I did do a complete uninstall and re-install of Firefox but it didn't change anything. Thank you for your response

Are you using the "Jump List" that normally appears when you right-click an icon on the Windows 10 Task bar? Mine's a bit sluggish recently, takes a few seconds to appear. Is yours sluggish or completely missing in action, or is the problem that clicking "Open new window" in the Tasks section of the Jump List doesn't do anything?
