I have been a frequent user of both Mozilla Firefox & Google Chrome.

From previous Firefox versions, when the default option in "Save Files To"; every downloaded item will automatically save in the destination folder without prompt of asking where to save and even rename duplicate filenames with (1) just like Google Chrome.

I have browsed previous (archived) threads from this community and it seems it has worked for people from the date prior to November 2019.

Perhaps this problem has reoccurred after v.70.

Your screenshot shows that you are making a screenshot and save the file under a name that already exisits. This may work differently than downloading a file.

Do you also get this configuration dialog when you download a file ?

No, I only get this confirmation dialog when saving a file under a name that already exists.

I would like the file to automatically rename with (1) when saving a file under a name that already exists; not overwrite the file.
