Why is a specific website looking different depending on the computer I use?

I was using a Mac (used Firefox for the website i'm talking about) until recently. I now use a brand new Windows 10 laptop. I have noticed that Youtube looks completely different on the new computer than it did on the Mac. Can anyone explain why? Also, when I go on Youtube on Internet Explorer on the new laptop, it looks the way it does on the Mac. What's going on? Is there a way to get it looking like it did on the Mac? I've also attached screenshots from both computers. The first pic is from the Mac, the 2nd is from the Windows 10 laptop.

Looks like the screen width / horizontal resolution differs between the 2 devices. On the 2nd Win 10 screenshot it looks like "you" aren't signed in to a Google Account. There's also a left side bar showing in the 2nd screenshot, which might be due to a user selected preference that is saved in cookies for YouTube.

Then there could be a difference due to a recent update of the YouTube UI; as like, the new UI on one OS and the old UI on the other OS. Also, a difference with the ancient Trident-engine Internet Explorer vs. a more modern Quantum version of Firefox. Quite likely the Win10 Edge browser would display closer to how Firefox on MacOSX appears.

Overall, that's really a question for YouTube support.
