Choosing "Open Link In New Tab" through original caffeine.tv causes original tab, which I'm already logged into, to sign out. How do I fix this?

When I right-click on the caffeine.tv logo and choose the "open link in new tab" option, my original tab that I'm already logged into signs out once the new tab is loaded. This has been happening for several months. This did not always happen, but began to happen out of nowhere. I had not made any changes. This also occurs through my Windows 10 PC.
