I've seen help messages about unblocking, but my efforts haven't resulted in any change. I do notice that on the web and FF help there seem to be multiple instances of this problem. I'm not enough of a tech to wade into this, so I would really appreciate guidance. All other pages behave as expected.

Does this issue still occur while running Firefox in Safe Mode?

If not, it's likely caused by one of the browser extensions that you have installed on Firefox. My assumption is that it's probably one of the content blockers that you have (Adblock Plus, Ghostery, etc). These types of extensions have been known to cause similar issues.

Hope this helps.

Great. Now, how can I replace my blockers so they work with (or around) these pages? Most all my other pages have no problem with the blockers. I realize that isn't your specialty, but I'm kind of at a loss how to just single out one URL without working through the others. Still, thanks for picking this up.

I'm assuming that means that the website works for you in Safe Mode?

If that's the case, most content blockers have the ability to whitelist certain websites. This means that content on a specific website won't be blocked. Due to the volume of content that these extensions block, it's pretty common for them to wrongly detect certain parts of a page as an ad or other tracking code. That's why the whitelisting option is typically available.

The steps to whitelist a website will vary depending on the extension(s) that you are using. For example, the Adblock website explains how to whitelist websites using their extension.

Other extensions, like Ghostery, will allow you to whitelist specific trackers on a website.

Hope this helps.

If you use Adblock Plus then you can consider uBlock Origin as a replacement to see if that works better (lower memory footprint).
