Two inboxes
I recently had a boot drive crash. I was able to restore Windows using a third-party backup program (Acronis True image) which seemed to work (mostly), however one of my Thunderbird profiles was messed up when I accessed it next.
I have several profiles, to separate my work and personal life, and only one of the several profiles that I have seemed to be damaged. All of the profiles are stored on a “data” drive, not on my C:\(boot) drive.
I seem to have it mostly straightened out now, but I noticed that in one of my profiles, which has two accounts in it, That in one of my two accounts, I now have two inboxes.
One of the inboxes contains all of the emails that were in my inbox at the time of the crash, and the other inbox is new and empty. However it is the one into which new emails coming in are being deposited.
My question is: “How can I rid myself of this new inbox, and have my incoming emails directed to the old inbox?”
Thanks in advance all you experts!
