Firefox update is not restoring my tabs on startup on both computers

My Firefox automatically downloaded Firefox 67 onto 3 of my Mac computers. It is working ok on my old computer using Yosemite. But on my new iMac using Mojave and my Macbook pro using High Sierra, it is no longer restoring or remembering my tabs if I quit it and restart it.

1.In preferences, "Restore previous session" is checked.

2. In History, history is checked to always remember my history.

3. And I have never used "sync." I am not logged into it and we don't use wifi, only wired ethernet connections.

Why would this do it to both my newest Mac computers?

Is there anything I can do? I did a number of fixes when I posted on just one computer not realizing that my other one had been contaminated too. The fixes didn't work anyway. So I'm starting over since the problem goes beyond my one computer - it's on both of them and firefox was running perfectly until the download.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thank you, Martha

I spoke too soon. It stopped working on the 3rd computer too.

I can't replicate that. Are you using any Firefox Extensions which may be interfering with Session Restore? If you're unsure, try a process of elimination by disabling all your extensions and see if that helps.

Hi and thanks much for your reply. I have never used extensions but I checked anyway and it said I had no add-ons so no to your suggestion.

jscher2000, when I posted that earlier question, the situation was different. I was only having the problem on one computer. Then 67 was downloaded onto my other two computers and now all 3 of them are having the same problem. At first the oldest computer was ok for a few times of using Firefox 67 but now it's the same problem and all 3 computers have the exact same problem so what am I to think other than firefox 67 is not compatible with macs? Like I said before, I have never had a problem with firefox before on any of my computer until 67 was automatically downloaded. How can I report this to Firefox directly?

Thanks much for understanding!

I have been reading that Firefox 67 unloads browser tabs to free up memory. I don't know if this is the issue with me or not, I only usually have a couple of tabs going at the same time. Has anyone else who has Firefox 67 had this problem?
