when sending email it goes to my inbox
When I reply to an email sent to me, I hit send and it sends a copy to my inbox, only just started doing it this month.

In Tools/Account Settings, look in the Copies & Folders section for the account. Is the box 'Place copies in the folder of the message being replied to' checked?

I have the same problem as well. My Place a copy in is set to "Sent" Folders. I've tried sending emails directly via web browser and no issue so definitely the problem resides in Thunderbird.
Using: Windows 10 x64 using Thunderbird 68.1.0 (32-bit) and also on previous version.
