Lightning v. 6.9 works here in TB 67b1, but if it has disappeared, the first thing I'd try is the reset procedure explained here.
Where can I get Lightning 6.9 from Thunderbird add-on manager only gives 6.2.5 and this doesn't work (ie none of the beta versions despite that I am running a beta version of Thunderbird)
I don't think there is a separate download available of Lightning 6.9, as it's built into the full TB installer. Did you try the procedure to reset Lightning and unhide it? If that doesn't work, you might have to create a new profile in which the calendar is present from the start.
To start Profile Manager, close TB, Winkey+R, type thunderbird.exe -p
OK I gave up with the beta channel and reverted to 60.6.1 and 6.2.5. What a crock
