If by Contributors forum you mean https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/forums then that is for things related to the support.mozilla.org site.

In the Advance Search https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/search/advanced

Make sure the Discussion Forums on top is selected then you likely only want top search for things in the SUMO Community Discussions so select that. Then you may want to select Last Post Date in the Sort results by:.

If you are actually searching the Questions forum then select the Support Questions on top then select the forum and scroll down to bottom for to change the sort by to Last Post Date to get new and not results that could be rather old.

When you do put something in Post contains box on top, do not put in multiple words or a sentence as one word may be best. Otherwise you may get a whole mess of results that contains one or multiple words that may or may not even been on subject.

Also you should not publicly post your email address like this as otherwise search/spam bots may find it.

Where are you doing the search at?

for WestEnd - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/search/advanced

That is a very poorly written search feature. You would be better off using a Google search. I have a Support.Mozilla.org search engine (which uses Google) to search this fora KnowledgeBase that I got from MyCroft - http://mycroftproject.com/ - many years ago when MyCroft was still hosted as part of MozDev.

Problem is that as of Firefox 65 those MyCroft search plugins won't install any longer; they work if they were installed in the past, but are no longer able to be installed. So we're stuck (for now) with what is available from the Addons.Mozilla.Org website. "Search Tools" = https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search-tools/

My advice is to user this extension: Search Site WE https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/search-site-we/

I haven't tried it myself, as I typically use an older version of Firefox rather than a Quantum version and haven't 'hit that wall'. And at the rate that Mozilla breaks 'things' that are needed, such as the search engines, I may be switching web browsers entirely in the future. Basically as more and more websites get broken on the older versions of Firefox that I still use.
