With Firefox version 63, I have the problem on YouTube and Netflix, if I snap Firefox in a corner (with mouse or WIN + arrow keys) and switch a video to full screen, left and right is still a few pixels square. In addition, the taskbar is in the foreground (can not be fixed). [IMAGE 1]

If not left, right (top or bottom) snapped then it works, if Firefox is maximized too. The error occurs only in Firefox. Exit Explorer.exe and reboot PC does not work. Error exists since update on the first day of release (early October) - version has been withdrawn by MS,

I also installed the version on my laptop and have been updating ever since.

Apparently the error also occurs with some others: https://www.reddit.com/r/Windows10/comments/9lwzmm/fullscreen_broken_in_october_update/ but it has probably not changed.

Useful data: Windows version 1809 build 17763.134 Graphics driver up to date Firefox completely reinstalled (profile, cache & cookies deleted) even without add-ons started. 2 monitors On the laptop (also tested with 2 monitors) no problems.

I am thankful for every help. Error is really annoying.

Hi there, Here is what I understand to be the problem, please correct my steps if they do not seem right: 1. On Windows 10 with two screens, open Firefox, then netflix or youtube. 2. Drag the Firefox window to the bottom right of the screen for the window to snap to that position (does the window resize to the corner?) 3. Click on the icon in that snapped window to go full screen in the active monitor window.

Expected: Browser window to go full screen on the monitor it is snapped to.

What actually happens: taskbar is in the foreground is still visible Pixels are still visible

I am a little confused by your screenshot, can you please let me know what the red divider is, and the program to the left is, and if it is on the same monitor? I am sorry I am unclear, I hope I am in the right direction, please do let me know where I miss-step, it will help me try to reproduce it more easily.

Thank you!

Hi,

maybe the new two pictures explain my problem. PIC1 (red font): If firefox snapped to a corner or side and I click on fullscreen then my problem (PIC2 with yellow font) comes in. Left and Right are a few pixel space and the taskbar is in front. To solve this I must close the fullscreen and maximize the window, and click fullscreen again. Every time. If I click then on fullscreen the full monitor is filled with the video, as is normally should do...

Nice theme! And thank you so, so much for the screenshot. I get it now.

I think that can be changed a few ways. I found:

Did any of those help?
