Thunderbird upgraded to the latest version and as a result, all of my profiles disappeared. I tried reentering my server settings for my main profile and couldn't get it working. I reverted to the previous version and all of my secondary profiles are working, but not the primary one. I sure hope it wasn't permanently lost!!!

Why would you not accept a previously working profile when updating or at the very least warn that it would not be usable under the new version and might be lost????

UPDATE: I checked the files related to the missing profile and they appear to be present, but I can't figure out how to connect to it, why ThunderBird no longer does so and how to fix it. All my other profiles are working, just the profile I attempted to use with v60 does not work even after reverting to the previous version.

At present, I am still using POP. Once I (hopefully) have everything working again, I plan to convert to IMAP. All my profiles & accounts are configured the same way (incoming - pop.[server_name].com, STARTTLS, normal password; outgoing - smtp.[server_name].com, STARTTLS, normal password). I know, this is a very primitive setup, but it worked nicely for my needs and as I said, I plan to upgrade to IMAP and increase security once I get this issue resoloved.

If you need any additional info, just let me know.

Thanks
