So, no way to get anything from it. It is a portable hard drive, the compute repair guy said that the "partition" (or something to that effect, I'm not all that tech savvy) is missing or corrupted.

</p><p>If you previously used a newer Firefox version (current is 61.0.1) then the files you try to use might not be compatible with this older release.

Otherwise, I'm not sure where Firefox would have found any backups to display on the Restore menu.
</p><p>Did you ever set up the Sync service in your Firefox before? While Sync is not reliable as a backup, it would be worth a try if you were using it.
