Sync has stopped working.
Sync has stopped working. I have searched for a way to resolve this with no joy.
From a previous users thread I found this,
"Here are the steps to expedite the process:
Install About Sync from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/about-sync/, then open about:sync. In the “General Options” section at the top, choose “Actively looking for issues and want detailed logging”. Try to sync again. In the "Log Files and Diagnostics” section, click "download them as a zip file”, and either attach that file to a bug, or upload it to https://send.firefox.com or another file sharing service where we can access it. "
I installed the "About Sync" tool and ran it. Here is the Zip log,

Hi, you can disable that Extension.
Please do this : You can open about:sync-log via the location bar to see if there are recent error logs available. (Copy/Paste about:sync-log to the Address Bar and Enter) You can upload a recent log if the log is too big to put in a reply. https://pastebin.mozilla.org/

Please go to your google page and select some text by highlighting it then do Ctrl + A then copy and paste it all into the paste bin.
Please go over paste bin on how to do that as is not how it should look. paste where you pasted the path. Select at bottom to keep for a month. Then let us know please.

Hi, ok it worked except you did not change the Keep for a Day to Keep for a Month as was asked.
This log shows as far as I can tell that it was a successful Sync.
Are you using Sync as a Backup Service or are you Syncing between devices as it is for.
I am using sync between devices.
I checked the sync log on the computer that I am trying to sync from. It has no logs past 6/28/2018 which is probably when this issue started. It appears to me that sync is broken on this computer. Here is the most recent log,
Actually the sync log on this computer goes back several days from 6/28, and they all show error.
The sync button shows a spinning circle like it is running often. Even right now. But no sync is happening and it seems to run for a long time. Maybe constantly.

Hi, can you switch that from save for a day to save for a month at the very bottom of the report please as per previous post.
As you mentioned yesterday, I had switched to save for 1 month. I was not 100% certain at that time, so I made absolutely sure that I did switch to save for 1 month today. So essentially I have done that both times. Before you made mention of it.
Any help with the actual issue?
Just as an FYI, I went to the pastebin and clicked on the save for one month again, then send. Seconds ago.
