Hi HoneyBO519,

Why would you want to go back to the previous version  ? It's always best to run the latest version.

What needs immediate attention though :

I noticed in your system details that you have an extension installed called 'Search Encrypt', which is a browser hijacker, malware that you will need to get rid of, and here's what I would like you to do :

Go to the Firefox menu (≡) => Add-ons => Extensions, and remove that 'Search Encrypt' and look for any other unfamiliar or suspicious looking extensions.

When you find any : remove them.

Do the same in Windows Control Panel => Programs

However : most malware will be 'hiding' somewhere , so let's run malware scans (even though you already have run some) :

Further information can be found in this article : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. They all work differently - what one program doesn't pick up, the other might.

If you are having a problem, let us know so we can advise you. BTW, I am still using v54 as I do not want to lose my add-ons.

Thank you both for your suggestions. My question was not answered.

Do I have to accept this new browser or can I go back to the previous version?

What do I have to do, to reverse this current browser?

PS. Murphy, I really did not like your question aka your answer, if you had read MY question, as follows, "Why would you want to go back to the previous version? "

It's called personal choice, not everything new or enhanced is better!

My question was based on concern - having your best interest at heart. Depending on your answer, we could have adviced you. We contributors are supposed to encourage users to run the latest Firefox version.

You never replied to the rest of my post : the fact that I noticed malware in your system details ......
