When I try to use the update in the e-mail about the new Firefox I am told that I must close the running system, but I am using my e-mails through it.
I use Firefox to access my e-mails, processed through a British Telecom site, even though my e-mails are now serviced via EE. When I try to use the link on the message inviting me to update to the newest Firefox everything starts well until I am suddenly told that I must close Firefox to complete the installation, whcih I cannot do because it breaks my link to you. Catch 22. I think that Mozilla is a great riposte to the power of Google, Microsoft and all the other big beasts so earnestly solicit your help in getting the newest Firefox running. Thank you in advance for your help; I am sure that the answer is obvious but we 80+ year olds are not too limber with the wonders of modern technology.

I am not sure, but it may be the browser needs to close to finish the update.
