I would like to know, a simple link and not a statement like, 'please refer to'.....

all of the tools mentioned to try and see tab memory usage are not accepted by this build

is there not a memory tool that you use?

I just want something simple..like tab1 is using 30%... etc......

memory addons listed in video can not be installed

You would think given the constant development that this would be a standard tool to get feedback.

I did a complete refresh of firefox this morning, last night it locked up so badly I had to unplug from wall in order to turn off.

Well first let's check that you have 1st one done here and then can monitor in Task Manager Ram/Cpu usage.

Please : go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check (put a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Monitor in Task Manager. Should stay below 2 gigs. If excessive then do below and monitor and change if need to...Test and go up again , go back down, it will eventually get a zone you and it can live with.

Go to the 3 Bar Menu then Options --> General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2 Restart Firefox after making these changes please.

As to your question not that am aware of. You can check here and see if someone has made something. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks for the reply..After refreshing this morning, I went to the config and enabled multi-processor.

I have also set the switch to prevent accessibility as suggested.

I'll monitor and come back I guess.

The problems last night were sudden, went from editing a website with maybe 4 tabs in total open..no real load at all.

Then suddenly, browser became slow to cursor frozen in about 2 seconds.. a slight return where cursor responded and then a lock..couldn't call task manager, etc...

sothere was no time to look and no way to open task manager...

cool feature would be slight line across top of tab that is equal to percent of memory being used by that tab.....
