Why does Firefox keep deleting my bookmarks?

Every other day or so, I will be going down my bookmark list, browsing the internet, and I keep finding bookmarks that are being deleted. I did not delete them!!! I don't want to upgrade to the new browser, because I did so at work and don't like it. (It changes the browser border from transparent to a solid color. And the transparent add on is solid as well. I just want to be able to find my bookmarks where I put them and stop them from disappearing. If I don't get an answer to this problem and it continues to occur, I will switch to Chrome!!!

No idea. Get a copy of them now before they all go. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer

Supposedly I have them synced, and can recover them, but they shouldn't be just disappearing. And usually it's only one or two at a time. I need to know how to prevent this from happening! Not some petty suggestion to copy them.

I have the same problem. Bookmarks keep disappearing from Firefox Quantum on Windows 10. Been going on now for over a month. Nobody seems to know why !!!!
