Settings for multiple accounts: Do I have to change them one account at a time?
I have several email accounts. I'm just getting to know Thunderbird so when I discover something I often want to change a setting on all the accounts. It appears this isn't possible. It looks like I need to go into every account and change that particular setting. Wondering if there is a way of changing a setting for all the accounts at once to save a LOT of time.

No. You have to do them independently because they are separate mail accounts.
Usually, once the Account Settings are created and setup, you not need to keep accessing and altering the server settings. Perhaps I'm not fully understanding you. Please give examples of what it is you keep needing to change.
Imagine you want to change a setting in all your accounts. Say you have 50 accounts. Do you have to go into each of the 50 accounts to do that or can you do a blanket setting change, maybe in about:config? Imagine the time it wastes making changes in each of your accounts.
I think we're still curious as to which changes you want to make.
Some changes may have methods that allow for shortcuts. But so far it's a guessing game.
