Firefox crashing Facebook Mac

Every time I try and post on Facebook Firefox CRASHES the tab. >:( It's been doing it for 2 versions now. I hoped the last update would help but if anything it made it worse. It went from 'laggy' to CRASH the tab. I use Facebook a lot and this is not okay. Disabling plugins doesn't help. I have also gotten a lot of overall 'Firefox crashed' reports lately.

This used to be a great browser, what is going on here?

Sorry to hear. Would be nice to see those crash reports. You can find the report ID of recent crash reports on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" page (about:support).

   click the "All Crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports. 

Alternatively you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.

I do notice that information supplied is that there are some GPU errors/crashes/not responding errors. Could you please try updating or re-installing your Video Card Drivers. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration Please also try without Hardware Acceleration.

I still do recommend disabling all Plugins and Extensions until the issue is resolved. If issue is resolved turn back on 1 at a time to see if or which may cause a error again if it is those.

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Press the Reply button. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.

I wouldn't dare try reinstalling drivers right now. It's a 2010 macbook and if it goes blooey there is no way on a holiday week I find someone to help me fix. And the plugins I do unfortunately need for work. I've taken it down to the minimum active though.
