Restoring and protecting tabbed browsing
Okay, so I use a ton of tabs when browsing. I've been having an issue for the past few months where when I open Firefox I get an error message, but with a prompt to restore my tabs and windows. This works fine most of the time, but if I close out of that window for any reason, they're gone forever. Unfortunately, this has now happened twice after updates (ff wouldn't boot up right, I had to close it... When I come back, nothing and no "restore previous session" either. The only way to get it back is by doing a complete system restore on my laptop. This is my third time doing this and I'm REALLY tired of rebooting my entire system every other time Firefox decides to update itself. I used to use sessionstore.js and .bak but they changed how that worked a few updates ago and I have no idea how to use the new system.
Is there anything I can do to fix this??? I've tried downloading extensions but I've found them difficult to use.
